Holiday Chex Mix,

This is Mother's recipe (Chris Thomas) that she makes every Christmas.

Mis En Place, i.e. Ingredients

  • 07 c Crispix cereal
  • 01 c mixed nuts
  • 01 c pretzels
  • 03 T margarine, melted
  • 00.25 t garlic salt
  • 00.25 t onion salt
  • 02 t lemon juice
  • 04 t Worcestershire sauce

Method

Combine Crispix cereal, nuts and pretzels in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Set aside. Stir together remaining ingredients, gently stir into cereal mixture until evenly coated.

Bake at 250°F about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool.

Yield: About 9 cups.
